Got2bs New Oil-licious Line

When I was younger I used to do a ton of bad stuff to my hair: highlights of all colors, perming, pretty much you name it and I tried it. But a few years ago I was unhappy with how unhealthy my hair looked and went back to my natural hair color and just regular shampoo and conditioner. I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I am extremely picky on my hair products bc I can easily tell when something isn't working out for me. So when the PR for got2b a very popular drug store brand asked me to try their new oil-licious line I couldn't resist.

IMG_3740
First off all awesome looking are these bottles? Love it!

IMG_3741
Okay now to the good stuff... this new line is made from triple oils of argan, white grape see, and marula

IMG_3888
I have to admit I was really scared to try the shampoo bc it looks just like oil. As I am constantly sweating in this humid Texas weather I thought the last thing I needed to add to my hair was more oil. The smell of the shampoo is nice and kind of florally with twist. Hard to describe. Anyways, my hair is def not oily after using.

IMG_3890
The conditioner is completely opposite of the shampoo. It is not really as oily looking as the shampoo. I actually like the smell of the conditioner better and it has gold shimmer to it. I know gold shimmer? I was like I hope I don't look like I sprayed a bottle of glitter on me but it is actually nice and subtle little shimmer to it. It is on hair very naturally surprisingly so you get that nice little shimmer to it in the sun. Trust me I have black hair so if it was dramatic I could tell and of course tell you how it really looked on me. And plus I am sure you guys know my thing against glitter. But honestly it just adds a little shimmer to it.

Overall, my hair felt very soft after I got out of the shower. Bc I haven't trimmed it in about 6 months I noticed it was started to get crunchy on the ends which means I am up for a cut but I did notice it improve while using these products. Love the smell it leaves on my hair! And I love its extremely affordable! This is my second time trying a got2b product and I def like this one and will be continuing to use my shampoo and conditioner.

Price- $5.99

HBL Shampoo, Conditioner and Shine and Seal Serum

Hi all! Looking for a new shampoo and conditioner? I got a new brand I have been using for 2.5 weeks by HBL haircare. I like to say I have relatively healthy and shiny hair so I can tell right away if something is bad for my hair. I def like to use them for a while so I can give you a more accurate picture of how the product works on my hair. I refuse to try a hair product for a day or two and then say its great bc I want to report the most accurate thoughts on each product.

 So let's get started!

IMG_2820
Two of the products I have been trying is the HBL Hydrating shampoo and conditioner

IMG_2821
These products are supposed to smooth, moisten, and protect your hair. Both have a nice light floral scent to it. The first thing I noticed with continued use of this product is how soft my hair felt after I rinsed out the conditioner especially when brushing it out. Some hair brands can really tangle my hair but this product def reduced the tangles I can get from having lots of hair and the fact that its thick. And as you can see from the previous Curling iron post I def think my hair is looking shinier these days. Pretty impressed.

IMG_2822
The next item I tried was the HBL Shine & Seal serum

IMG_2823
This product protects, shines and seals strands with a high-gloss finish and helps eliminates frizz. You only need a little amount of this product as its inflused with Argan oil too much will make the hair look oily. It has a nice light smell to it but I def noticed a difference in the frizziness in my hair when I started using the product and that was confimed when I went out a town and couldn't take this product with my. I don't want to say my frizzies were completely gone but they def were decreased with continued use of this product. The good thing is since you only need a small amount it can last for a long time.

Overall, after more than two weeks use I think these products lived up to its description of making hair shiny and smooth while reducing my frizziness. I know there more on the expensive side especially for college students I would pick the shine and seal serum if I could bc it really helped my hair look more tame and it probably would last longer. But of course if I could afford all I would get them all!

Price-$20.95 (shampoo)
$32.95 (conditioner)
$30.95 for 100ml (Shine and Seal)

Thairapy365 Tri Curl Curling Iron

I have such an awesome product to review today. Something that def is better than an other brand of that product I have tried before I am so excited to show you guys?

You ready?? Let's get this started!!

Today's review is on the Tri Curl 3 in 1 clipless Curling iron from Thairapy365

IMG_3142
Ever wanted a curling iron that you can create lots of different looks with? Well the 3 in 1 clipless curling iron is perfect for you!

IMG_3143
Here is what the product looks like in its box. You get 3 different size barrels in this product

IMG_3141
It is super easy to take out the barrel's theres a little tabon the back side that you slide and they come off super easy. The curling iron has a digital temperature control for all hair types. The max is 200 so you don't have to worry about burning your hair off! (Joke for the people who saw that vlogger video-trust me I tried all 3 barrels!)

IMG_3140
Included is the 32mm, 25mm, and 19mm

IMG_3145
Since the curling iron is clipless you have to hold the hair while its wrapped around the curling iron but don't worry this glove that will protect your hands from getting burned.

IMG_3128
I used the 19mm barrel to do this first look. I wanted to show you how my hair is normally and how the product curled my hair. With the 19mm barrel you will get nice tight curls. My hair is layered a little in the front so thats why their are different lengths in hair! How amazing does the curls in that look like?? My hair is a little longer than my shoulders so you can see how much shorter it gets when I curl it with the 19mm barrel. No hair spray was added here to give you a better idea how your hair will look.

IMG_2959
Now the 25mm will give you a mix between really tight and loose curls! This is perfect if you have shorter hair and want to try and not shorten your hair too much but want a curl too! Beautiful right! I was in love. I added a little hairspray to give it some more volume! Def makes it look more shiny and amazing!!

IMG_2802
The last barrel is the 32 mm one. Perfect if you want that nice old hollywood look look. I could have left the curling iron longer but I tried this one first and was scared my hair would burn off at first but I quickly learned how great the temperature setting is on this curling iron!

Overall, I am in lovvvvveeeee with this curling iron! Not only can you achieve 3 completely different looks with it but you can rest assure that you will not burn your hair off bc the max temp is 200! I have lots of hair and its thick so it takes me atleast an hour to curl my hair! Nothing drives me more crazy than to finish curling my hair and see its all flat now! I can honestly saw that my hair stayed curled all night and into the next morning but of course it was just more loose curls! But if a curling iron can do that it is amazing! Even my bf commented how well and long it lasted! Well the price is a little high for the college students ($230) in the end you essentially get 3 different curling irons for the price of one. And to be honest if I could spend on anything it would be this one for sure!!

Bloom.com Beauty Products

I got a few products from bloom.com to try it. You should def check out their site Bloom.com/shop as they are getting rid of the products they sale and everything is 60%.

IMG_1694
The first product I got was a Megan Miller Polish ($12.00) in Champagne. First off aren't the bottle's cute? They remind me of Pirates of the Carribean. Love the design and think it would make a really cute gift.

IMG_1765
The polish I got was Champagne a shimmery gold color. My swatch is with 2 coats but I prob should have applied another one. The polish dries quick and is pretty good.

IMG_1695
The next products are the lip balm from Mor in Lycee and Cassis Noir.

IMG_1697
Both of these products smell absolutely amazing they have a nice light texture, give good shine and mositurize your lips well.
IMG_1699
The next thing I tried was the blow pro Styling Mist ($30). Just spray a little of this before you blow dry your hair and it will detangle and leave your hair with a great shine. Plus, it tames the frizz in your hair. Lovely!

IMG_1689
The final product I got to try was a Cargo eye shadow palette in Los Angeles ($30).

IMG_1690
This palette had a lot of blue/green colors probably not the best colors people would wear as I know lots of people are scared of blue. The first thing I noticed was the shadow is very crumbly. Make sure you apply some powder underneath your eyes that will catch the excess shadow or you will leave behind a yucky mess.

IMG_1921
I used the green color on my lid and the purple/blue color on my crease. The blue prob wouldn't have looked very good on me and I really wasn't feeling like doing the Mimi look.

IMG_1917
Honestly, for $30 I probably wouldn't ever get this palette. Maybe it was just this one or maybe Cargo just doesn't have good palettes. This was the first time I tried it so I def didn't get a good first impression.

Overall, I liked the Megan Miller polish, the MOR lip balm and the styling mist but wasn't a fan Cargo palette.

Have you tried any of these products?

Jonathan Dirt Paste

Hate flyaways especially in the winter? Wish you could glue your hair style literally? I tried a product that seriously holds your hair. Dirt texturizing paste by Jonathan is the ultimate syling paste that will give your hair control and help repair all hair types.

Containing lemongrass water, sweet almond proteins and lots of natural botanical exracts, dirt paste def has a nice fresh scent to it.

A little goes a long way...literally..you def don't need that much for your hair. The paste is extremely thick so def rub rub your hands to heat the paste so it can go on your hair alot smoother.

Here is what it looks like after I rubbed it to melt it a little. You def can see how thick it is. I had to wash my hands with soap to get it off that's how strong of a hold it will produce on your hair.

Make sure you rub it around to make it smoother or else you will put a giant glob on your hair and it will be harder to smoothen it out then and white chunks in your hair will def not look nice. Plus its so thick its hard to smoothen it on once its on your hair. But if you smoothen before your apply to your hair like I do it will apply to your hair a lot easier. I used the Dirt paste to do a snooki doo! I think it went on great and it def keeps your hair styled for a long time.

Overall, it does an amazing job but I am not a big fan of how thick it is. I wish it was a little bit thinner in consistency. I do love the smell of it though! Again this is my personal preference, I know lots of people who loved it!

Price $14 currently on sale for $11.20

Enzo Milano Curling Iron

OMG I almost forgot about this curling iron I got at a beauty show I went to back in June lol. That shows how busy I am with school and work! Well here it is a 19MM curling iron. Unlike regular curling irons that normally have a little clip to hold the piece of hair your trying to curl, Enzo Milano curling irons are ones in which your wrap your hair around the curler for 30 secs then unravel it. It's quite easy

Unlike regular curling irons that normally have a little clip to hold the piece of hair your trying to curl, Enzo Milano curling irons are ones in which your wrap your hair around the curler for 30 secs then unravel it. It's quite easy to do and each curling iron comes with a little glove to protect your hand from the curling irons heat. Each curling iron heats up to 320F, is ceramic, and has a lifetime limited warranty.

I had a better picture then this one but my dog decided he wanted to take part in my picture taking so I uploaded his instead.

I used a thermal protector spray on my hair before curling so my hair wouldn't get damaged by the heat and some of my hair. Apologies for not being able to do my entire hair but I was extremely busy and I have so much hair it would have easily taken over an hour. But I think you can get the picture of how the curls come out: nice loose ringlets. Don't they look amazing? My sister got the 25mm curler and her curls were even looser like how cute celebrities hair looks like on TV just a little curled. I wish I had a picture to show you but let me tell you I def will be saving up for that one!

Price: $119 (varies)

Bloom.com Hair Products

It's Bloom.Com Ambassador Box time! I got a bunch of stuff in my box this month that I will be reviewing all week. Today's review is on two of the hair products I got.
First up is the Lea Journo Parfait Intense Hydrating Mask ($45)

Kind of like a thick whipped cream texture, this mask is supposed to relieve dry damaged hair by penetrating deep in the hair to revitalize, mositurize and strengthen it. It'a also supposed to add shine.

All you do is add it to dry hair and leave it on for a little bit (I left it on for 10 mins) then hopped right into the shower. As it is washing off your hair starts to feel super duper soft.

Then I used the other product I am reviewing today the Dermaheal Hair Conditioning shampoo ($40 for 25ml). This product is supposed to cleans your hair while also delivering a medical active ingredient to help with hair loss while stimulating hair growth. I just used this shampoo after I washed out the mask.

I have been both products for a little more than a week.

lets see what the results are.....

Drum roll please....baabhabhb

More shine to my hair...uhhh yes..
Softer hair? double yes..
My hair def was a little less frizzy as it usually is...
And I have def notied that my hair is starting to grow a little bit.

Wow true to its role..def will be using the Dermaheal shampoo everyday now bc I miss my long hair!

Here it is my final look!

Bioken Enfanti Dandruff Products

Although I am a beauty blogger I have far from perfect hair and skin. And today I share my most biggest beauty problem...dandruff. There I said it! The other day in class I some girl talking about some one they were sitting behind on the bus and how nasty there hair was bc it was had dandruff. I was sad to hear it bc I too suffer from dandruff and its not like I don't try billions of remedies to get ride of it: drug store shampoos, lemon, and vinegar. I have tried it all! I got the opporunity to tried some Natural Remedies from Bioken Enfanti specifically for dandruff which I was def excited to try!

The two products I got to try was the Scalp Pore Cleanser and the Dandruff toner. Cleanser and toner? I know sounds like facial products, a little unsure I def wanted to atleast give it a try.

The pore cleanser is a emulsion that provides your scalp with the exfoliation necessary to remove oils and dirts. It helps by purifying and stimulating the scakp with natural ingredients such as ginses, horseradish, and saponaria extracts to help detoxify hair and scalp to relieve dry itchy skin. I applied this product before showering by applying it to my scalp in messaging it into my hair and letting it sit in for a few minutes before washing it out.

The second product I tried was the Dandruff Toner. Containing tea tree and neem oils this product controls dandruff and offers soothing to your dry, itchy scalp. It also helps control the reoccurance of flaking. Containing antimicrobials, the toner will help prevent excessitive flaking while helping improve the epidermal health of your scalp.

I have been trying this product for a month and half to get a good idea of the effects of these products on my scalp. I def have seen a BIG difference in my dandruff. Before I would literally have big pieces of skin from my scalp come off (sorry to be so graphic) and now it is just tiny little pieces. My scalp is also not as itchy as it use to be. HUGE difference! I wish I knew which product helped me the best as they are a little bit on the pricey side. I want to say the toner. But I am not sure. But because of their results I prob will just get them both again! Def would recommend this to people who suffer for dandruff that shampoos like Head and Shoulders don't work for. I was a little hesitant on these products but I am def a beliver now! IT works!

Prices:
Pore Cleanser-$21
Dandruff Toner-$36.00

Unite 7 Second Condition

I have thick and lots and lots of hair! And because of that my hair gets tangled easy and often! I hate brushing my hair out sometimes bc sometimes I get big knots in my hair (usually a sign for me I need to trim my damaged hair) Anyways I got this product from Unite sent to me and I just had to take the test.

Known as the "7 second conditioner" this product untangles your hair while nourishing the cuticles to protect hair. Use this on towel dried hair and spray 4-6 times throughout your hair.

The results are in! This product works wonders! I am not going to say it completely took out my tangles but it was pretty dang close to it! The smell of it is also amazing even my bf commented on how well my hair smelled. I will admit some days I run out the door and spray my hair to let it sit while I drive to work and my hair brushes so easily and tangle free on the way! This is seriously an amazing detangler for those out there who get tangles like me. No more yanking on my hair for me! This is a product I def will buy again!

Macadamia Natural Oil Shampoo and Conditoner

My godmother is a hairstylist so when it came to doing stuff to my hair I did anything and everything from red highlights one week to perming my hair the next week. So as you can already guess all the treatments eventually took its role on my hair. I'm talking like dried up, split ends and all nasty! A few years ago my sister learned about the company Macadamia Natural Oil and in particular their Deep Repair Mask that when left in your hair for 15 minutes twice a week would help reconstruct and rebuild damaged hair while impriving the overall shine and elasticity of hair. Now when I tell you the mask was a miracle I mean it. It does WONDERS to damaged hair. But I really wanted something to use daily to maintain my hair's appearence so I decided to give the rejuvenating shampoo and conditioner a try.

Here are bottle shots of the products. I love the way Macadamia Oil Products look. The color combination is just so cute!

Here is a better look at what they look are called. To be quite honest you can find them on Amazon for a good deal as compared to Salon prices which are crazy expensive.

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for over 3 months now. I have noticed a tremendous difference in my hair. First off, it is soooooo shiny now. Secondly, I have noticed my hair doesn't have as many split ends as it use to. It honesly looks healtier than it ever has before and when I went to get my hair done at the salon they asked me what I used bc my hair was sooo healthy. In my mind I was like ha I am giving my secrets to the stylist lol! I can't wait for my hair to grow long again like it was in April before I chopped it all off to not go crazy during this hot summer in Dallas. Ps. Sorry my hair is all yucky I woke up from a nap after this pick!

Overall, I have nothing but amazing stuff to say about Macadamia Natural Oil they literally have tranformed my hair from damaged to AMAZING!

Price: ~30.00 a bottle on Amazon

July Bloom Ambassador Box Hair Products

It's a new month and you know what that means? Time to review some products from Bloom.Com. As I am Beauty Ambassador, I get the chance to review beauty products monthly just for you! This month all the products I got I had never heard or tried before so I was so excited to get to test them all! Today's post is going to focus on the hair products.

Here's a little sneak peak at my box this month and whats to come soon as far as reviews! =)

The first products I am trying today comes from a hairstylist from Omaha, Nebraska named Thomas Sena. He has a line called T'eez me with a bunch of products ranging from shampoo to other amazing repair products.

The first product in my review today is the Bounce me Styling Cream. This light amazing smelling cream can be used on long, short, curly, wavy or straight hair. All you have to do is dob a little on wet or dry hair during styling. It adds texture, shine and even gets a little hard to hold hair like a hair spray. I used the Bounce it to achieve a bunch of different hair styles.

Now I def don't have curly hair. My hair is super straight. But I went ahead and tried to scrunch my hair a little bit. I just added some of the styling creme to my wet hair and using a towel scruched it. I apologize for the hair across my face but this is while I was trying to shape my hair.

After a few minutes I finally got the look I was looking for. It looked nice, wet, and my little straight hait didn't look to bad.

It's hot up in Dallas I tell you! So when I'm working I def want to keep my hair up. Using my styling creme I parted a little piece of my hair on both sides and started from the top of my twisted my hair towards my scalp all the way to my ears. Then I just pulled my hair up in a ponytail and added the twisted piece and wah lah!

You can also use the styling creme to do the snooki style. I just got a piece of the front of my hair and poofed it! I didn't go all crazy with my poof bc I work in healthcare so I wanted a nice subtle style.

The styling creme held my hair pretty great! And since I had punk rock hair I had to give you the punk rock sign! Of course!

Overall, I loved the smell of this product. It does a good job at holding your hair in place and especially on keeping my side bangs which usually always fall out from coming out! So I was able to maintain my hairstyle all day long. It didn't give that hairspray hold that leaves my hair flakey which I can appreciate. As far as frizziness goes it did help a little bit with it but I can't definitively say it helped completely but it did a pretty good job!

The next product I tried from the T'eez Collection is the Build me Volume spray. It helps to control and add some volume to that hair!

I have a lot of hair already so I don't need too much volume but I can def use some control. I sprayed my hair starting at the roots and worked my way down. Check out how awesome the top of my hair looks. It made my hair shiny, not frizzy (it looks a little on the middle are bc I just woke up from a nap =) ) and def added some volume to the top of my hair that is pretty flat. Oh and the smell of cucumber on it is phenomonal!

The third and final hair product I will be reviewing today is the Sundari Neem and Coconut Hair treatment. Applied throghout your hair and scalp, this treatment sits in your hair for 30 minutes before you wash it off. It smells yummy and yeah I was scared putting oil in my hair as I have some naturally oily hair. Oh and I also have a sensitive scalp so I get dandruff easy! This treatment aims to help rebuild and strenthen the collagen layers while improving your hairs overall texure and feel.

Here is how my hair looked first thing out of the shower. I was surprised to see my hair not looking all funky from leaving oil in it for 30 minutes.

And here is how my hair looked after. It was left with a nice shine, soft and smelling great! I already have pretty healthy and shiny hair since I don't treat my hair with anything. I don't color or rarely curl it but it just added that extra touch and made it look even better! FYI I washed my hair last night and woke up this morning to super soft hair! It pretty much didn't look like I just woke up (my hair atleast lol!)

Want to see these products or more that Bloom.com has to offer? Check out their Website ! I have also provided the individual links of all the products I reviewed today! Hope you enjoyed learning about all these products and I dont know about you but I can't wait to see what I get to review next month!

Do you have anything on Bloom.com that you would like to see reviewed? I def want to hear about those products so I can provide suggestions to Bloom.coms Ambassador Representative.
