Milani ColorStatement Browns and Nudes Part two

OMG I just realized I forgot to post the second part review of the Milani ColorStatement lipsticks I received to review. Here are the remaining Browns and Nudes I got to review


All the browns and nudes in the ColorStatement Collection

Last weeks post was more brown colors while this week is the lighter browns and nudes.

We got Bronze Beauty (BB), D'Oro (D), Teddy Bare (TB), Nude Cream (NC) and Dulce Caramelo (DC)

Here is hand swatches of all the colors listed above: BB. D, TB, NC, and DC

Bronze beauty is a darker orange-brown shimmer lipstick.

D'Oro is a very bronzy golden metallic brown color.

Teddy Bare is a nice natural cream color that would make a perfect work lipstick color

Nude cream is a lighter cream lipstick. Surpringly it still looks good on brown skin tone! Love it!

Dulce Carmelo is a pearl nude color that could also be worn in the workplace. Very nice and natural for people who are just starting to wear lipstick and want to start off light!

The two lip liners that are with the brown and nudes are: Cocoa and spice

Hand swatches of Cocoa (#10) and Spice (#8)

Overall, I def like the nudes better than the browns. There nice colors but just not that nice on me. I def will be wearing the nudes to work for sure! As I work in a profession where I can't wear any reds orpinks the nudes will be perfect so I can still wear some kind of lipstick!

Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks in Brown and Nudes

Hi all! Finally got the last of the Milani Colorstatement Lipsticks to review for you the Naturals (which I am excited to try) and the browns. Since I got so many lipsticks I decided to break it down into 2 different reviews as I don't want to overwhelm you with pictures.


The naturals and browns consisted of 9 different lipsticks and 2 lip liners

I really love the lipstick shots. So pretty!

Here are the names of the first four lipsticks I swatched

You can find a perfect brown shade for you between all these. You got dark, medium, and light colors.

Arm swatches of Double Expresso (DE), chocolate berries (CB), Candied Toffees (CT) and Naturally Chic (NC)

DE is a dark chocolate color. Def not a good color on me as I am brown. But it probably would look good on a lighter skin tone but then again I never really see people wear brown so I am not even sure 

CB has a more redish tone to it. I liked it and it was very creamy.

CT which I am sorry is a little blurry def has a orange kind of tint to it. It is a metallic lipstick and yeah def not bad at all. 

NC is a gorgeous natural cream color. You can use this for work or for the days when you want to create a simple look. Love it!!

Milani ColorStatement Plums & Berries Lipsticks

Hi all! I wasn't able to post yesterdays post so I will do two today. Today's post is Part 3 of my Milani series of all the ColorStatement lipstick colors but this time we are reviewing Plums & Berries!

I have to admit I have never worn purple colors before partly bc I didn't think they would look good on me but its always good to try out things you never try bc you never know if you will like them!

Let's get started!


Of course all the polishes were in another cute lipstick bag! I love how the bag color represents the color we get! There are 7 colors in the Plum & Berries. 

The first four colors are Black Cherry (BC), Sangria (S), Violet Volt (VV), and Chilled Brandy (CB)

Black cherry is a cream lipstick and kind of scared me at first bc it looked too dark but it actually doesn't come off that dark and kind of remind me of a dark wine color. 

Sangria is a nice purple-redish matte color. Its not too dramatic so you could even pull it off at work =)

Violet Volt is a fuschia metallic color with a hint of iridescent color in it. I think it will look good on a light skinned tone or dark skinned person

Chilled Brandy is a darker red-maroon  shimmer color. I like that it adds just a hint of color in it but is not too overwhelming.

Now to the lighter purple & Berries shades. Here is Uptown Mauve (UM), Raspberry Rush (RR) and Plumrose (P). These three were my favorite colors of the bunch!!

Uptown Mauve is a nice purple-pink cream color. I love this color! I think it will look good on everyone.

Raspberry Rush is a rosey pink metallic color 

Plumrose is a light soft pink cream color. It is also another favorite of mine and one I could wear at work with no issues.

Overall, I am very surprised with how many plum & berries colors I liked. Def makes me more open to try things I have never tried bc you never know what you will like! As always there has to be at least one color that can please everyone and that is what I appreciate about Milani Cosmetics

Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liner

I love eyeliner!! So I was super duper excited to try out the new Ultrafine Liquid eye liner line by Milani Cosmetics! Eye liner is def one of my never can live without items so I can admit I am pretty picky when it comes to finding the right eyeliner.

So let's check them out....

The Ultra Fine collection consists of 5 different colors: Black Vinyl (BV), Black Gem (BG), Prismatic Purple (PP), Sparkling Turquoise (ST) and Emerald Glisten (ET)

With regards to application the eyeliner tip is quite easy to apply onto your eyes. Since the tip is thin you do have to keep diping it back into the holder to get more eyeliner.

Here is a quick swatch of each of the colors. One thing I forgot to do before I applied the liner was shake it around to make sure the liner was evenly distributed. My bad =(
BV-is a solid dark black color
BG- is a black color with a multicolor shimmer
PP- is a purple color with blue shimmer
 ST is a turquoise blue with a hint of blue shimmer to it
EG is a emerald green color

I did a quick swatch of Sparkling Turquoise. Really pretty color! I usually steer away from color eyeliners but not going to lie this color is pretty! I could def wear it here and there.

Prismatic purple swatch. Should have mixed the liquid liner before applying it but I forgot. Either that or I could have applied another layer. Again, the color isn't that bad at all. Kind of got my eyes open to trying out color liners!

Overall, the liners have pretty good pigmentation. Def shake them before use! I really like the Black Vinyl color bc of course I love black liner. Lasts pretty long and only tends to come off on the very inner eyes but I tend to have very watery eyes due to allergies so I can't say if its the liner or my eyes. I love the turquiose color especially and excited to be open to trying more kinds of colors!

Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks Part 2

Hey ladies! Got part two of the Milani ColorStatement for you all this evening! Today's them is all pinks! Pink is by far my favorite color so I am so happy to get to try out all the different types of pinks Milani has to offer in their new collection!

So lets get started!!

I love how the bag we got today also matched the color theme like the red lip bag I got in part one! It is so cute!! Also included is two more lip liners.

Isn't this rainbow of pinks lipstick bottle shots cute? So pretty that I might make it my wall paper lol! Love it!

The first four lipsticks I have are Flirty Fuchsia (FF), Flamingo Pose (FP), Hot Pink Rage (HPR) and Rose Hip (RH)

Flirty Fuschia is a dark pink vinyl lipstick. When I first glanced at it it looked more red to me. Could be because of my natural lip color is more on the red side?

Flamingo Pose is a cream coral color. Really pretty! Def in my top favorite of the pinks.

Hot Pink Rage is a matte pink. Another one I likey!

Rose Hip is a brighter pink cream polish.

The last 3 pinks in the ColorStatement collection are Rose Armour (RA), Fruit Punch (FP), and Pink Frost (PF)

Rose Armour is a light creamy pink color! Kind of reminds me of the Nicki Minaj kind of color!

Fruit Punch first off love the name is a cream pink polish. This one is the most natural of all the pinks to me so you could def wear this to work.

Pink Frost is the only metallic pink lipstick in the collection. Although it looks really light on the swatch my natural lip color made it a lot darker. I actually like it now bc I thought it was going to be too light for me but its not as bad.

Here are two more lip liners #5 Haute Pink (HP) and #4 All natural (AL) both matte liners

Swatches of the two liners. Both are really creamy and give amazing pigmentation. I need to start learning how to use liners!

Overall, love the variety of pink lipsticks there are in the Milani ColorStatement collection. There is a pink to satisfy everyones taste. And one random thing I noticed that I am not sure I mentioned in the other review is the smell of the lipsticks. It smells really good! The very first lipsticks I have like opened to smell lol!
