Physician Formula Organic Wear Mascara

Looking for a new drug store mascara? How about a organic formula based on? Well her is my review on the Physician's Formula Organic wear mascara I got from Bloom.com to test.

Made with 70% organic farming ingredients, the Organic wear mascara helps lashes lengthen and volumize those lashes. One thing I am picky about when it comes to mascaras is the brush. I hate when its thick bristles and makes clumpy lashes yuk!

Let's see what kind of bristles are on the Organic wear mascara

Yay! The brush has nice separated bristles to make sure all lashes get an evenly distribution of the mascara. All you do is your regular wiggle technique and you got nice clump-free lashes.

Sorry my forehead is sweating a little yuk! I think I tried it out after a jog lol! But as you can see on the left hand side the Organic wear mascara helps lengthen lashes really well. It also volumizes good too as compared to my boring, flat, normal lashes. 

Overall, for a drug store mascara this does a great job at giving me length and volume to my lashes! Love the brush it helps me get my mascara on clump-free. And most importantly its made from natural ingredients so you don't have to be scared about what your putting on your eyes. If I could say one con I would say that my lashes tend to start falling by the end of the day so you might want to curl them before you apply this mascara or after (I know bad bad) to make sure it lasts all day! Other than that its a keeper!!

IMATS 2013 Beauty Product Reviews-Grafton Cosmetics

Continuing on my IMATs reviews I seen a private cosmetics company called Grafton cosmetics and I kept passing by and eyeing their baked makeup and I gave in and just had to try some.

The first thing I got was a 3 in one eyeshadow duo

I really liked the colors in this one so thats why I chose it. It has a green, a brown, and a beige

The green is like an olive color with a golden shimmer to it. The second color is a chocolate brown with a hint of shimmer. The beige also has a shimmer to it too. 

The second product I got was a baked blush

It's almost summer time so I got a bronzer and instead of a pinky blush. I have never tried a baked blush either so I was so excited to try it 

Look at the golden shimmer this has. Gorgeous! I will be getting my j-lo on with this color. It is sooo pretty!!

Overall, I am in love with the two baked cosmetics I got from Grafton Cosmetics. I had never heard from them before but I am so glad I tried them. That olive eyeshadow is def my favorite and looks amazing with my skintone.The only bad thing is I can't seem to find the prices of these products online and I am kind of nervous they might be expensive bc there a private label. But they do go to tradeshows so check them out if you ever head to one.

IMATS 2013 Beauty Product Reviews- LA Splash Cosmetics

It's about time I start reviewing some of the things I got from IMATS in NY.  One of the products I bought and wanted to try bc I heard of the company before was LA Splash. I glanced around and saw they had a lot of glittery cosmetics which I try to stay away from but I saw the black liner and decided I wanted to give it a try.

Packaging of the eye liner is very simple. Like that you can see the color the liner will be. In my case black but you could see the color of the blue, red etc. 

I don't know if the tip is sponge or what not but it is extremely delicate. You could def bend it if you take it out rough for sure. But at the same time I actually liked the brush bc it made it super easy to apply it. I def would recommend a brush like this for beginners. The regular brushes that come with liquid eye liners you know the ones that look like paintbrushes? They are the reason I hate putting liquid liner on. The one on this liner is nice!

As you can see from my swatch the liner is pigmented very well. It also dries pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I went jogging like 15 minutes after I applied the liner and while it is supposed to be water resistant and smudgeproof...its not. I came home looking like I cried black tears. Was not a pretty sight and almost all of the liner was off. I was bummed bc it showed so much promise. Good thing it was super cheap at the IMATS.

Smashbx Softbox Palette

I have never tried Smashbox Cosmetics so I was so excited when I was contacted to potentially review the Softbox palette. 

It comes in a sturdy case and I love the appearance. Simple but cute

This palette came with 6 colors in it and a dual ended brush with a big one for all over lid colors and a smaller one for defining around the crease. I usually don't ever use the brushes that come with the palette but I actually liked these ones. 

As you can see in this palette there are 3 mattes and 3 shimmer shadows. Now you know I am not a huge fan of shimmery shadow but these are not too shimmery at all and in fact I found myself using the shimmery colors more than the matte ones. Go figure. 

Going from the top row down there is a:

• Brown shimmery color perfect for the entire lid, 
• Beige/grey color which can go over the entire lid or serve as a base color, 
• Light beige color which can serve as a base color or can even be used to bring out the lower eyebrow area, 
• Darker brown color like the first color that is also shimmery that can also be used for the lid
• Light shimmery golden brown color
• Dark matte brown color that can be used for smokey eye or for the crease

Overall, I am a sucker for neutral colors. Love them very much so I like that this palette had lots of different kinds of browns. The shimmery colors were perfect for me who is not a fan of glittery stuff. One thing I noticed is just make sure to tap off the excess shadow bc the brushes pick up a lot and if you don't tap it off you will get a messy palette like me. Speaking of brushes I liked them two and loved that it has two on it and there different sizes.
