Puzzled&Polished Nail Polish Jewelry

I love nail polish and I love Jewelry so when I heard about nail polish Jewelry I def was interested in checking some out. What better way to bring two favorite things together! Mandy, a girl in a group I am in recently started a Nail polish jewelry line caused Puzzled&Polished to help raise money for her son, Christian's, Autism speaks group. I personally think that is an amazing cause as all proceeds except the cost of materials will go on behalf of their son's fund!

Check out the ring I got to review for you today!

IMG_2239
Mandy wanted to custom create a ring for me and asked me what my favorite colors are which of course are pink or purple. The ring I got was made with Zoya Lara and a holo pink from Klean color!

Another shot of the ring! Isn't it gorgeous!

IMG_2241
I love love love my ring. And Mandy charges only $8 for jewelry pieces. What better way to match those mani's than with a custom nail polish ring? Plus, you are purchasing something that will go to a great cause!

What polishes would you use to make the perfect ring? I need ideas for my another ring!!

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Got another palette to show you today! Check out Too Faced Natural Eye palette. As I work in a hospital I had to get some palette's without the bright pink, purple or black shadows that I usually go for. I have to be more natural at work.

Shot of the Natural Eye Palette

IMG_2075
This palette contains 3 highlighter colors on the left followed by 6 different shadows you could use for workdays and nights

IMG_2076
Close up of all the shadows

IMG_2077
The biggest shadows on the palette are one's that could be used either as a highlighter under the eyebrow or perhaps over the entire lid (Silk Teddy could be used as a base for the lid)
IMG_2087
Heaven is a light yellow matte shadow.
Silk Teddy is a light shimmery bage color
Nude Beach is a shimmery brown color

IMG_2078
I am not really sure why these are smaller than the first three but the other shadows are velvet revolver and sexspresso at top.

IMG_2081
Push up and Erotic in the middle and Honey pot and Cocoa puff in the bottom

IMG_2082
I did the swatches by rows.
Velvet revolver looks alot lighter in the picture but its a darker beige color that would be a great base color
Sexspresso is brown matte color with light gold glitter in it and would great for smokey eyes or as a lid color
Push up is light shimmery brown color and would be good for the all over lid look
Erotic is dark chocolate color with a hint gold glitter in it and could be used on the crease, smokey look or all over the lid
Honey pot is shimmery gold/brown color would be a great all over the lid shadow
Cocoa puff is milk chocolate matte shadow with a hint of gold glitter in it. It def would make a great smokey color or crease.

Overall, the pigment was pretty good on this palette. I am def not a glittery shadow fan but I feel like all the ones that had a hint of glitter weren't too overwhelming for me and the ones that were shimmery weren't as bad as I thought. I think the Natural eye's palette is perfect for day (when you use the light colors) as well as night looks as well.

Stila In the Moment Palette

Finally I saved up enough BB points to get a full size palette free!

IMG_2088
The palette I chose was the Stila in the moment.

IMG_2091
This palette comes with a variation of purples and natural colors.

IMG_2092
The top three shadows are: Instinct, impulse and glance.
The bottome shadows are: desire, wonder and spontaneous.
IMG_2098
Swatches go up and down:
Instinct is a shimmery white shadow that can be used for highlighting under the eyebrows
Desire is a peachy/nude color that would be perfect for the entire lid, or underneath the eyebrow
Impulse is a light purple color that could be used as a
base color for the lid
Wonder is a peachy/pink shimmery color. It is gorgeous lid color.
Glance is a shimmery plum color! You can use it for the crease or the lid
Spontaneous is a light brown shimmery color for the lid or crease.

IMG_2093
The darker colors in the palette are improvise, catalyst, whim and captivate

IMG_2095
All these colors will go perfect for a smokey look!

Improvise is a shimmery deep plum color
Whim is a smoked orange/brown color
Catalyst is a black shimmery color
Captivate is a maroon/brown color with a hint of shimmer

Overall, when used with a primer, these shadows will last for a long time! The pigmentation on each color is amazing! I only swiped my finger once for each swatch. I love the fact that the palette includes both dark and natural colors to combine to get some good looks!
