Modella 2013 Collection

It's good to be back! I had lots and lots of fun with some other bloggers I got to hang out with at IMATS! For todays review I wanted to tell you how I pack my makeup for trips like the one I recently made to NY on a tight budget! As a college student myself I know how it is to be on a budget so I especially love doing reviews that are very affordable to most of my followers! So when I got the opportunity to review some weekend totes I jumped on it bc I knew I could use them for my NY trip. Modella sent over two totes for try out.

IMG_3463
The first tote I tried was the 3-piece weekender kit ($19.99). When opening this bag you have two bags on one end and one on the other.

IMG_3464
The two bags on one end. What is really cool is there detachable! How cool is that so instead of tugging your whole bag to the bathroom you can just take one off with you! On one bag I had my shampoo, conditioner and loofa along with a hairspray. The other one kept my toothbrush, mouthwash, floss, deodorant, perfume, and makeup remover.

IMG_3465
The third bag is a long one that can fit a good amount of stuff in it! I used this one for some of my palettes.

IMG_3466
It was big enough to fir my Coastal Scents contour palette, blush too palette, a custom coastal scent eyeshadow palette, the UD Glinda palette plus a comb, lotion and few other stuff. Its very spacious!

IMG_3467
The second bag I got to try was the Fitted hanging Organizer ($16.99). this bag opens up to three different sections and has a little hanger on one end so you can hang it in your closet or whatever you want!

IMG_3468
Each section has a zipper. I used one for my lippy products-lipstick and lip liners.

IMG_3469
For the middle I used my face products-BB Cream, Concealer, Foundation and blush

IMG_3470
And the bottom bag was for eye products-Mascara, eyeshdaows and eye liners. I really love that I can seperate each section so I won't waste time trying to dig into the bag looking for the eyeliner or lipstick. Also the bags are clear so you can easily see whats in the bag. More convenient and for organized people like me better organization of all your beauty products! What more can you ask for!

Overall, I never really had makeup totes for vacations and I just love it bc it makes not only taking them easier but it saves me time finding my beauty products so I get ready quicker. And Modella products are very affordable ranging from $2.97 to $21.97.

Where to find- Walmart and Walgreens

Milani ColorStatement Lipsticks in Brown and Nudes

Hi all! Finally got the last of the Milani Colorstatement Lipsticks to review for you the Naturals (which I am excited to try) and the browns. Since I got so many lipsticks I decided to break it down into 2 different reviews as I don't want to overwhelm you with pictures.

IMG_3166
The naturals and browns consisted of 9 different lipsticks and 2 lip liners

IMG_3201
I really love the lipstick shots. So pretty!

IMG_3223
Here are the names of the first four lipsticks I swatched

IMG_3202
You can find a perfect brown shade for you between all these. You got dark, medium, and light colors.

IMG_3204
Arm swatches of Double Expresso (DE), chocolate berries (CB), Candied Toffees (CT) and Naturally Chic (NC)

IMG_3211
DE is a dark chocolate color. Def not a good color on me as I am brown. But it probably would look good on a lighter skin tone but then again I never really see people wear brown so I am not even sure

IMG_3214
CB has a more redish tone to it. I liked it and it was very creamy.

IMG_3219
CT which I am sorry is a little blurry def has a orange kind of tint to it. It is a metallic lipstick and yeah def not bad at all.

IMG_3222
NC is a gorgeous natural cream color. You can use this for work or for the days when you want to create a simple look. Love it!!

Part 2 of Naturals and browns will be up tomorrow!!!

Hard Night Good Morning Products

I love trying new companies so when Hard Night Good Morning asked me to review a few of there products I couldn't resist.

IMG_3329
Looking for a new makeup remover and/or cleanser? Well with the new PM Oil cleanser and makeup remover you can achieve both.

IMG_3331
The consistency kind of reminds me of the MAC Cleanse off oil I used a long time ago. Simply rub it on your face and in your eyes. Yeah I know sounds scary but it didn't irritate my eyes at all and removed my Benefit They're real mascara and Tarte eyeliner easily. Also it doesn't leave your eyelids all oily either. I couldn't find the price of the full size but for the travel size 1.0 oz alone it will cost you $10 through MAC while with the Hard Night good morning PM Oil Clenser and makeup remover you get a 4 Fl oz for $25.99

IMG_3332
Looking to clean deep down into the pores before bed? Well the next product I got to try was the Detox mineral masque.

IMG_3335
The texture of this masque is very creamy but also kind of like clay as well as it dries it hardens and you can def feel it tightening on your face as it cleans deep down into the pores. It felt weird but good at the same time as it was drying.

Overall, its always nice to find new companies where you can find products that are cheaper than other products you use. I know that I would def get the PM oil cleanser as it works the same as the MAC one and is cheaper. The mask also lets you know your getting a nice deep pore cleaning as it dries.

Price-Oil Cleanser $25.99
Masque-$25.99

Pixi Beauty Products

It's springtime that means new collections from all your favorite makeup and nail companies! I just got some new stuff to review from Pixi Beauty Products. I think they know me well bc they sent one of my favorite products-eye liner but with a twist! I usually play it safe with black liner so I was really nervous when I got colored liners.

IMG_3283
The two I got an Endless Silky Eye Pen and the Extra Eye Bright Liner

IMG_3285
Sorry this is opposite way than all the other pictures but you can tel which is which. The extra eye bright liner is in a extrabright and the Endless silky eye pen is in copperglow

IMG_3284
The Endless silky eye pen is waterproof, long-wear, and no smudge in brown. The extra eye bright liner is supposed to help brighten eyes and make your eye whites look whiter. I know my eyes are always red with these allergies so anything to help my eyes look whiter will do!

IMG_3429
As you can see on the hand swatches the liner is a beautiful bronze color with a hint of shimmer in it and applies thick so becareful if your using it for top liner and you don't like thick lines. The bright liner allows more precision as it is more fine tipped than the regular liner. It almost has a white-pink too tint to it.

IMG_3457
Although it is recommended to apply on the inner rim liner I thought it would be fun to see how white eye liner looked in general never tried it. The liner glides on easy.
IMG_3459
I applied the eye brightener liner to the top and the endless silky eye pen to the bottom. Pretty surprised how the white liner looks. I thought it would not look good at all but it actually comes out okay. Who would of thought. The brown also brings out my eye color. Def opens my eyes up to try out brown liners here and there. Since spring in here I will def be trying out more looks like this. Gotta try new things right???

What do you think of these products?

Price- Endless Silky eye pen ($15-10 different shades)
Extra Eye Bright Liner ($17)
