Kate Moss Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick

Rimmell London new Fall 2012 Collection includes 5 new signature lipsticks to the Kate Moss Lasting Intense Wear Lipstick. Inspired by the London celebrity, these lipsticks are made of a ultra-rich formula packed with vitamin C and E offering antioxidant protection, while leaving lips soft, smooth and moisturized!

Check out my lip swatches of four of these amazing colors!

Here is how the lipstick looks. Love the design!
Here are 4 of the new shades coming out this Fall!

Here is a close up of the lipsticks #09, # 11, #15, and #06
Swatches of these show that #9 is a Intense Berry color, #11 is Brick Red color,  #15 is a shimmery beige color and # 6 is a coral color.

I have seen lots of swatches on the skin and sometimes it's a little hard to picture what they look like on so I def wanted to include lip swatches of each color. Sorry they look a little crappy but I was doing it in a hurry!
Here is #9, it was a lot light then I imagined. It is def a berry color and can be worn day or night!

#11 is def a color to wear at night, it is a nice dark red color and it would have been darker but I only added it lightly.

#15 didn't look good on me! I felt like I looked like a zombie. It's a cute color just not on me!

I was quite surprised how #6 looked on me. I thought coral was for light skinned people but I have to admit it looked really nice! Its a fun color that you can def where during the day (except work).

So there you have it the new Fall 2012 Kate Moss Lipsticks! Aren't they gorgeous! I didn't mention this earlier but these lipsticks have a nice scent to it! I don't know what it is like a fruit kind of smell but I have never had a lipstick smell so good I wanted to take a bite out of it! Lol! Love the variety of colors and the longevity of each lipstick! Best of all, they are going to be super affordable! I don't know about you but I def want to go out and buy the older shades bc I am def a fan of this lipstick!

If you want to check out the older shades check out Rimmel London's Website or FB Page

Palladio Silk FX Eyeshadow Palettes

Palladio Beauty is a Hollywood Florida based group creating cruelty free herbal and vitamin enriched cosmetics such as aloe vera, ginseng, chamomile, and many other unique vitamin complexes that aid in the repair of your skins elasticity and against aging.

Today I will be reviewing some Palladio's newest creation, the Silk FX Eyeshadow Palettes. Demonstrating a unique liquid to powder formula, these eyeshadows give a sleek matte and shimmery look upon application. This collection consists of 8 different palettes that will help you achieve any day or night color combination.

Creating looks is easy with the Silk FX Eyeshadow Palettes as they include easy instructions as to what to use each color for (all over, lid, crease, highlighter, and liner). Plus when used with the right shadow primer, your look can last 8-12 hours!

Check out the swatches to all 8 palettes!

The first 3 palettes we will check out is Burlesque, Cirque d'armour and Mystique

Each palette includes from top: a highlighter, all over base, crease, lid and to the far left a liner.

The first palette up is Burlesque. It contains some darker beige/grey highlighter, vanilla all over base, grey/brown crease, pink lid and a black shimmer liner.

Here is the swatch of how the colors in each palette appear. I only brushed each eyeshadow twice over my hand so if you wanted a more dramatic look you could def add more! This was just a test to see how each color looked.
The highlighter here is def a olive/beige color. The all over lid is a good foundation for the pink lid color. It helps it pop out. I like the darker beige crease color which blends really well with the pink. The liner at the bottom is a dark black color with a hint of shimmer in it.

Cirque d'armour a silver highlighter, vanilla all over base, shimmery grey crease, bright pink lid, and a dark black liner.

The highlight here is really shimmery. Here the crease color is a bit darker than the previous palette and the pink color is a lot more rosier. The all over base and liner are very similar to Cirque d'armour .

Mystique contains a shimmery silver highlighter, vanilla all over, grey crease, royal blue lid and darker grey/black liner.

Mystique includes a silver shimmery highlighter and the same vanilla all over lid shadow as seen in the other palettes. As it will help bring out the color of the lid shadows I think its a good choice. The lid shadow here is a dark blue color that will be blended by a dark crease shadow. Again, the liner is black.
The next palettes I have is Femme Fatale, Haute Couture, and Rendez-vous
Femme Fatale is a whole bunch of purple madness! It has a lavender highlighter, vanilla all over base, plum crease, light violet lid, and shimmer black liner.

Love how this palette is a purple one but contains diff types/shades. Here you have a lilac shimmery highlighter with a light purple lid eyeshadow (that will be really bright thanks to the vanilla all over base) that will blend with a dark plum crease shadow.

Haute Couture def reminds me of St. Patrick's day. It includes a shimmery light gold highlighter, beige all over, dark green crease, light green lid, and dark black with hints of green glitter liner.

This palette is perfect for events such as St. Patrick's day! You have your gold shimmery liner, light olive green lid shadow and dark green crease eyeshadow. Your black liner also has a hint of gold shimmer to it and I love the beige all over base here.

Rendez-vous is the perfect palette for a natural look. It contains a golden highlighter, beige all over base, chocolate crease, shimmery brown lid, and black liner.

Working at place where you haev to watch what you wear I def appreciate the Rendez-vous palette as it will help me achieve that natural light look. It has a gold shimmery highlighter, natural beige all over base, with a copper/brown lid shadow. You can blend the lid shadow with a chocolate crease shadow followed by a dark black liner.
The last two palettes in the Palladio Silk FX Collection are: Boudoir Chic and Debutante

Boudoir Chic contains a shimmery beige/grey highlighter, vanilla all over base, beige/pink crease, dark purple/pink lid, and black liner.

Boudoir Chic includes a dark metallic/maroon lid shadow that can be blended with a light pink/beige crease color. The all over base here is a light yellow color and the highlighter is a darker beige shimmery color.

Debutante is another good palette for achieving a natural look. It contains a shimmery beige highlighter, vanilla all over base, beige crease, shimmery dark beige lid and a dark brown liner.

Debutante is another palette that is good for the natural look. It has a dark shimmery beige highlighter with a light copper lid color that is blended with a light brown crease color. Also here you have a brown liner instead of the black and a light beige all over base that will bring out the copper in the lid shadow.

Using any of the following palettes you can achieve some great looks!

Here are some of the looks I put together!
My fun looking with the Femme Fatale Palette

A more natural look with the Rendez-vous Palette

Summery look with the greens in the Haute Couture Palette

Overall, I love the consistency and pigment of these shadows. I used a primer which helped my shadow last all day long even in this Dallas heat. I love the variation of colors in each palette that make for some amazing looks! I also appreciate that each palette has all the colors perfect to achieve amazing looks! These palettes are great for beginners as they tell you what color can go where and as you start to get more familiar with makeup you can def mix it up with different palettes!

Jade Holograficio Polishes Part 2

Here are the swatches to the rest of the Jade Polishes: Psicodelica, Mystic Gold, Magic Negria, Delirio Rosa, Energy and Deja Vu.

Psicodelica is a see through silver color. It looks so crazy in the sun! You can see my nail slightly in the polish but for once it doesn't matter. It still looks cool. Kind of reminds me of a prism.

Mystic Gold is stunning right! I thought I would never say gold looks good on me or that I like it but something about the holographic version of a gold makes you look like a billion bucks!

Magic Negria is a black holographic. Its nice and all but not my favorite. I use to love black holographic polishes until I tried all these lighter shades!

Delirio Rosa. Something about this pink just makes it look so cute! Maybe that it is a baby pink or cotton candy bright pink. I don't know what but this is my fav pink holographic for sure!

Energy is a pretty lighter blue as compared to hypnose. Def like this one better. It just stands out more!

Deja vu is a darker pink color than Delirio Rosa. Its also prettier but the lighter one just seems more like me!

Overall, I think everyone should owe atleast one Jade Holografico polishes! They are honestly some of the best ones I have seen. Love that they go on easy with two coats and dry fast and they just give an AMAZING look.

Where to find here in the US: Ninja Polish or Llarowe

Jade Holografico Polishes (Brazil)

I am so excited to finally show you guys what I got in a swap from a girl in Brazil. I got all 10 of the popular Jade Holographic polishes! I decided to break them down into a few different post so I don't overwhelm you all! The swatches on this post are for FascinioVioleta, Seducao Rosa, Hypnose, and Vermelho Surreal.

You guys ready to see these bad boys?

..........

Each of these swatches were done with two coats of polish and no top coat to assess the overall shiniess of each polish!

The first polish is Fascinio Violeta, a beautiful grape purple holographic polish. I am so in love with the way this color gives off all the colors of the rainbow. Isn't it so pretty?

The next polish is Seducao rosa, a light pink color. Again I love how the color not only stands out but the holographic polish as well.

Hypnose is a light blueberry color. The holographics on this one in particular stood out sooooo well.

The last swatch I have today is Vermelho Surreal a blood red color. The color kind of reminds me of a vampire lol I could totally see myself wearing this color to watch Breaking dawn!

Overall, these polishes are def some of the best holo polishes I have seen! They dry super fast and they just look AMAZING! Seriously I can't wait to sport all the different colors over time! And they look just as nice in the sun! If I had to pick my favorite polish it would be between the purple and blue color. Something about those two stood out! Loved them!

July MyGlam Bag

This month's MyGlam Theme was Beach Beauty so all the products were products good for the warm weather.

This month's bag was a pink rainbow striped bag. It was def cuter than last month's bag.

This month bag included:

  • Yes To Cucumbers-Facial Towelettes. I love the small size of this travel bag of makeup remover towlettes. They def would come in handy when your makeup runs down when you get out of the water. Best of all they are 98% Natural and smell great!
  • Circus by Andrea’s Choice- Nail Color in Reverso. I swatched this polish and it dried pretty good but to me it was a little streaky. I also wasn't fond of the color I got and though a white color wasn't really a great representation of the beach to met. I was thinking a blue of green or yellow or pink. Anything but white.
  • Josie Maran- Magic Marker Lip and Cheek Stain. This product was pretty unique in the sense that it looked like a sharpie pen. I tried it as a lip stain and a cheek stain. I honetly preferred it as a cheek stain. (See swatch of it beloe)
  • NuMe-HydroPunch Hydrating Conditioner. On thing I really hate about getting hair product samples is just getting shampoo or just getting conditioner. In order to better assess the job of this product I need to see how my hair reacts with using all of it not just one component.
  • Kiehl's-Ulta Facial Oil Free Lotion. I have never tried oil free products so was excited to try out this oil free moisturizer. It didn't make my face oily and also didn't break out from using it! So I def will be using it more to see if my face stays clear using it.

  • Here is the dot I drew on my arm of the Josie Maran Magic Marker in Quickstep.

When I rubbed it in it was pretty light so I put more on. The only complaint I have is its pretty light and I am not too fond of this color. I prefereably like more pink colors.

Overall, this bag wasn't all that great. I really want more makeup, more eyeshadow, more mascara anything but hair products and lotion.

MyGlam is a monthly sample program that delivers 4-5 beauty products in a design makeup bag that changes each month. Some items sent are samples while others are full-size.  You can subscribe to by visiting myglam.com but as of right now they are sold out. Just keep checking, I waited for about a month and half but finally got in!
